The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Ruzaiza, confirmed that Social Responsibility Day is a distinguished occasion and a good opportunity for the business sector to highlight its roles and contributions in community service, and pointed out that Vision 2030 AD involved in implementing its objectives on many aspects of social dimensions that fall under the framework of the vocabulary of social responsibility, and that Due to its great importance in the development of society according to the foundations of sustainability.
The Kingdom had adopted March 23 of each year as a day for social responsibility, in which social responsibility programs are highlighted to highlight the role of private sector companies and institutions in what they provide for the prosperity and progress of society.
Al-Ruzaiza said that social responsibility is an essential pillar in the life of societies, as it supports the community environment and strengthens the bonds of cohesion and solidarity between members of society, as well as the national economy through its direct impact on the sustainability and promotion of the work of all economic sectors, stressing that it has become a standard today. Mainly to indicate the extent of active participation of companies and institutions in community service.
He pointed out that the Chamber has a long history of motivating the business sector to include social responsibility within its main programs, based on what it achieves from a real community partnership. The positive results it produces in terms of business sustainability, so it were among its strategic objectives. It is keen to implement many Events and activities and launch qualitative programs and initiatives that contribute to the business sector's awareness of its social responsibilities and the consolidation of its principles in its facilities.
Al-Ruzaiza explained that social responsibility is now equal in its importance, value, and impact to many establishments, with other economic programs, which created a work environment for them capable of dealing with the rapid developments in the economic, technological, and administrative aspects, and these establishments play a pivotal role in the development process. She realized that she was linked to her community and needed to expand her activities to include more productive activecities.
